Lake Tyres
Aboriginal students Jeffrey Walker and Cheyenne Proctor participating in an astronomy activity at Lake Tyers, Victoria, 2018.
We have many far reaching goals for the future of Indigenous astronomy, including education, research, community engagement, and Indigenous scholarships. In close collaboration with communities and elders, we are capturing, preserving, and sharing Indigenous astronomical knowledge and heritage. This task crosses barriers between interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary areas of expertise to foster relationships that will enable integration into educational and public programs. If you would like to know more about how you can get involved or support our work into the future, please get in touch with our Philanthropy Advisor, Fleur Kellenbach here.
